Adults: Always start with a smidge! Start with one capsule daily with food. Then take two capsules together, or as directed by a certified healthcare practitioner. (See "low and slow" note below).
For sensitive adults: A smaller dose may be obtained by pulling apart the capsule and taking a portion of the contents.
Start low and slow: Smidge® supplements are high-quality, therefore, it's important to start slowly. For example, a minimal dose every other day, or even once a week, until you can determine how the supplement affects your body and what feels suitable.
How to take: For best absorption, it’s recommended you take the probiotic with a meal or a spoonful of organic fat, like butter, ghee, emu oil or coconut oil.
Storage:
Smidge® Sensitive Probiotic capsules require refrigeration for long-term storage. They can be kept at room temperature for up to two weeks while travelling.
Smidge® probiotics are freeze-dried, and freeze-dried organisms are inactive until they come in contact with moisture. The freeze-dried organisms are sealed in a non-permeable bottle to help protect against moisture during shipping and extended use and storage.
Make sure to store the bottle in the refrigerator right away when it is received to help ensure the best results.
